The Nilgiri Natural History Society (NNHS) welcomes any individual or institution to contribute to the vision and objectives of the society by applying for membership. All applications are reviewed by the NNHS Executive Committee (EC) and approved by the office-bearers.
There are four main categories of membership which are as follows:-
1. Individual Lifetime Member: Validity of 10 years, full voting rights, eligible to be on the EC, participate in AGM. Cost: INR 3000.
2. Institutional Lifetime Member: Validity of 10 years, full voting rights (1 vote), eligible to be on the EC (1 seat), participate in AGM. Cost: INR 15000
3. Individual Lifetime Subscriber: Valid for 10 years, participate in AGM. Cost: INR 2000
4. Institutional Lifetime Subscriber: Valid for 10 years, participate in AGM. Cost: INR 10000
All categories of members will get an electronic copy of the biannual newsletter (should you need a hard copy please write to contact@nnhs.in). All members will get an invitation to events hosted by the society and a member’s discount for paid events.
